Testimonials

I started training with Jake and the IEP team in 2023 and initially knew their approach to movement, training and performance was on a whole different level. No one in the LE or Mil training world was addressing this critical need in the way they do. The IEP team has the education, experience and individual hard skills to enhance any individual or departments training program. The practical performance based approach is something I support 100%. The way they address not only performance but combine it with individual hard skills is something that anyone can benefit from. I’ve been using their methods and programming in my own training and am extremely happy with the improvements I continue to make.

Matt Pranka

Xray Alpha LLC

I’ve trained with hundreds of instructors from all over the world, seen what they bring to the table, and while there are many good ones, Jake and the crew from IEP have truly found a niche that was lacking and filled it with solid knowledge. Despite being at the pinnacle of their craft, they’re still pushing their own growth and constantly evolving new ideas, drills, and training strategies... Plus, they’re just good dudes.

Joe Farewell

Instructor/Professional Shooter

Even having been athletic all my life and playing on a nationally ranked college lacrosse team, there were still many valuable pointers, tips, and lessons to be learned while working with Jake at In Extremis Performance. Regardless of your previous athletic experience, it’s well worth attending a course and tapping into their expertise on the topic of movement with a rifle or handgun.

Mike Pannone

CTT-Solutions LLC

IEP provides a unique framework for firearms and tactical mobility training. Their top notch instructors are able to effectively and efficiently show the correlation between efficient movement and effective firearm performance. I highly recommend this training to all law enforcement officers.

Dan Colasanto

Persident, TTPOA

Jake has been working diligently to bring the training industry something it’s never seen before and it’s very interesting. Instead of a shooting coach that can move, he’s a movement coach that can shoot. And I love it.

Mark Smith

JBS Training Solutions

The guys at In Extremis Performance understand efficiency and movement from a high level. If you are serious about improving your skill set with not only shooting, but in any athletic endeavor. I highly recommend training with In Extremis Performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Want to get started but have a few questions?

Do I need a lot of time to make this work?

Not at all. Most clients train just 3–4 times per week, and many sessions can be done in under an hour. If you only have 30 minutes, I’ll design a workout that fits. The key isn’t spending endless hours in the gym it’s showing up consistently and using that time effectively. That’s where I come in: to make sure every workout you do counts.

Will I have to follow a strict diet or meal plan?

No in fact, I don’t believe in rigid meal plans. They often work short-term but fail long-term. Instead, I’ll teach you how to eat in a way that supports your goals while still enjoying the foods you love. We’ll focus on simple, habit-based strategies like hitting your protein target, balancing meals, and making smarter choices when life gets busy. You’ll never hear me say “you can’t eat that” because restriction leads to burnout.

How is this different from hiring a personal trainer at a gym?

Most personal trainers only focus on your workouts, and once your session ends, so does their support. My coaching covers everything training, nutrition, mindset, and accountability. You’ll also get resources most gym trainers don’t provide: weekly Zoom calls, Loom video reviews of your form, direct text access to me, and a supportive online community. This isn’t about 3 hours a week in the gym it’s about building a lifestyle you can keep for life.

What if I travel a lot or my schedule changes?

That’s exactly who this program is designed for. Whether you’re traveling for work, juggling kids, or working long hours, your plan will adapt. I’ll create workouts that can be done with minimal equipment (hotel gyms, bodyweight, or bands), and I’ll show you how to navigate nutrition on the road. You’ll never feel like you “fell off” instead, you’ll learn how to stay consistent no matter where life takes you.

I’ve tried other programs before and failed. Why will this be different?

Most programs fail because they focus on short-term fixes: strict diets, extreme workouts, or cookie-cutter plans. This coaching is different because it’s built around you. We’ll identify the habits, obstacles, and mindset shifts that matter most for your lifestyle, and I’ll be there to guide you through every challenge. You won’t just get a plan you’ll get the tools and accountability to make fitness part of your identity.

FAQ image

Is this worth the investment?

Absolutely. Think about how much time, money, and energy gets wasted on gym memberships you don’t use, fad diets, or supplements that don’t deliver. With coaching, you’re investing in proven systems and personal accountability that actually work. Clients often tell me the value goes far beyond fitness they have more energy for work, more confidence in relationships, and more balance in life. This isn’t just about losing weight it’s about becoming the healthiest version of yourself.

How much support do I actually get?

A lot. You won’t just hear from me once a week. You’ll get:

Weekly Zoom coaching calls for live accountability.

Loom video feedback on your workouts so you know your form is on point.

Direct cell phone access for urgent questions and real-time support.

Private community forums to connect with others, share wins, and learn together.

Regular check-ins through Everfit to track progress, habits, and nutrition.
This level of access means you’ll never feel like you’re doing this alone.

What if I’m a beginner or out of shape?

That’s actually the best time to start. Many of my clients came in feeling nervous, unfit, or unsure if they could stick with a program. My approach meets you where you are, we’ll focus on simple steps, small wins, and building confidence from day one. You don’t need to be “in shape” to start. You just need to be willing to take the first step.

What if I’ve been training for years and want more advanced coaching?

I coach both beginners and experienced lifters. If you’re advanced, we’ll dial in progressive overload, smarter programming, and recovery so you can keep making gains. Many experienced clients come to me because they’ve hit a plateau or want to refine their form, nutrition, and mindset. Whether you’re new or seasoned, my job is to take you further than you can go on your own.

What’s the first step if I want to join?

It all starts with a free discovery call. We’ll talk through your goals, struggles, and lifestyle to see if this is a good fit. If it is, I’ll show you exactly how the program works and we’ll set up your plan. If it’s not the right fit, I’ll still point you in the right direction no pressure, no strings attached.

What qualifications and experience do your coaches have?

Wholesome Fitness is led by me, Louis Antonelli, founder and head coach. I bring both personal transformation and professional expertise to my coaching.

Certifications and Education:

NFPT Certified Personal Trainer

NCI Level 1 Nutrition Coach

Mind Pump Fitness Coaching Certification

Perform Better Functional Training Seminars (continuing education)

Experience:

8+ years coaching clients in strength, fat loss, and habit transformation

Personal transformation: lost over 100 pounds and rebuilt my health from the ground up

Extensive work with busy professionals, parents, and high-performers balancing careers and family life

What makes Wholesome Fitness different is not just the credentials, it’s the combination of lived experience and proven systems. I’ve walked the path myself, and I’ve guided clients through the same struggles you’re facing now. That’s why my approach is practical, adaptable, and built to last.

What results can I realistically expect, and in what timeframe?

Every client is different, but here’s what most experience when they commit to the process:

First 4–6 weeks: noticeable improvements in energy, confidence, and consistency with habits. Many clients also see early strength gains and better sleep.

8–12 weeks: measurable fat loss or muscle gain, increased strength, and more control over nutrition choices.

3–6 months: significant physical changes (leaner, stronger, more defined), improved mindset, and healthier daily rhythms that feel automatic.

6–12 months: a complete transformation, not just in your body, but in your lifestyle. At this stage, clients often say “this finally feels easy” because the habits are second nature.

Results depend on your goals, effort, and life circumstances, but my role is to give you the structure, accountability, and adjustments you need to keep moving forward. You won’t just see changes you’ll build a system that keeps them.

How many clients do you work with at any given time?

I intentionally keep my coaching roster limited so every client gets the attention and support they deserve. At any given time, I usually work with 6–9 in-person clients and 10–15 online clients.

This balance allows me to provide high-touch coaching, weekly Zoom calls, Loom video feedback, direct text access, and personalized program adjustments without spreading myself too thin.

If my roster is full, I’ll add you to a waitlist so you can join as soon as a spot opens up. Quality always comes before quantity at Wholesome Fitness.
